Ta Da! No change, really 🙂
I see progress! I don’t know about you, but I think these guys are fatter and stronger looking then last week. I also think they are thinning themselves out. I was holding off on thinning because of the lack of growth, but the pot seems to have fewer, but stronger, seedlings. I think mother nature took over this week! Maybe it’s just me…or maybe it’s just the lighting…but they look more robust to my eye 🙂
I haven’t really done anything special these past couple weeks. The seedlings continue to get a daily misting of water and are hanging out under the LED light 12 or so hours a day. On weekends, I water from the bottom up and let them soak up a good amount of water. Seems to be working! Fingers crossed!
The ‘Peppermint Creme’ seedlings are 2 months and 1 week old today! I find months and weeks easier to count then days so that’s what we’ll stick with 😉
I was getting discouraged last week at how slowly the seedlings are growing. Yes, they are still growing slowly, but I did some looking back on past seedlings I’ve had and noticed that they really don’t do too much until they are 5 months old. So…if these ‘Peppermint Creme’ seedlings still look like this in 3 months, we can freak out then! In the meanwhile, I’m going to give them space and time to grow!
Tonight, I brought the adult Lithops inside and catalogued them before putting them under lights for the winter. I thought I’d share! I feel blessed to have such an amazing collection. I can’t wait to add our ‘Peppermint Cremes’ to the roster 🙂
