Mini Oncidium Rescue Update

15 Dec

Remember my mini oncidium orchids I rescued last winter?  I know, I know, they aren’t Lithops so I’ll be quick 😉

I was thrilled and surprised to find that the second plant has pink blooms!  Usually we only see the white variety so this was a real treat.  I just had to share.  Forgive me – LOL!

The pink variety is on the left…it is subtle.

Orchids have lovely flowers and it’s never bad to show them off. Plus, lithops don’t look their best this time of the year. Thanks for the December eye candy.

They can really brighten a room. I don’t have many right now but hope to have more in the future. I find them easy to keep and they like cold winters, just like Lithops, so I can keep them in the same room 🙂
